J&D Manufacturing’s Typhoon Exhaust fan series is the most robust galvanized fan
available in the market today. The heavy 18 gauge galvanized housing and venturi
are the perfect support structure for the 12 gauge motor mount. All fans come
complete with aluminum shutters on the intake side with ties bars and heavy
shutter clips that hold the shutter in tight, but with a quick twist allows for easy
removal. The no cone models have a 12 gauge 1" x 2" mesh guard that is
galvanized after welding. Our new poly isolation guard clips reduce noise and
vibration and are also easy to remove. Cone models have our heavy gauge
galvanized cone with safety cone guard. All 48" and 50" belt drive fans have
our heavy spring belt tensioner. All Typhoon fans are shipped assembled except
for attaching the shutter and/or cone. Our fans are designed for exceptional
performance, low maintenance and low operating cost.
