Curtain Systems Basics

• The curtain opening is controlled by a manual or automatic temperature controlled winch or actuator.
  
  
• As winch pulls cable, curtain opening is adjusted by nylon cords running through small pulleys, and attached to cable and curtain every 4 to 8ft.
  
  
• Curtain is stiffened by 3/4” swedged conduit running through hem at top of curtain. Ends are also weighted with rebar through hem.
  
  
• Restraining system of zig-zagging polypropylene rope assures uniform folding of curtain and prevents wind damage.
  
  
• Plywood or plastic envelopes at each end prevent wind damage and air leakage.
  
  
• Plastic mesh acts as bird barrier and inside restraint system.
  
  

Double Curtain-Double 8x8

Also available in double layer with rope insulators to create air space as slight R-factor to prevent frost buildup on curtain in extremely cold temperatures.

There are two outer layers of durable, pliable polyethylene bonded over an inner layer of super tough, tightly woven polyethylene. Solid woven material allows light passage without air leakage. Seven Layer Insulated Curtain Insulated curtains with R-3 to R-4 are a cost effective method of controlling climates, reducing fuel costs, and increasing production efficiencies. The outer shell of vinyl and polyethylene provides durability and protection from heat, cold, and moisture. U. V. inhibitors and shrink resistors prevent rotting and cracking even under extreme conditions. The inner layers are composed of insulating materials with air trapping fibers and a vapor barrier. Horizontal quilt lines ensure uniform and compact folding. Lightweight and easy to install.
