J&D Manufacturing’s PRUDEN Counter–weighted Ceiling Inlets are designed to introduce inlet air at the ceiling. In winter you want the cool incoming air to stay tight to the ceiling and not draft animals. In the summer you want the air to directed on animals to create cooling and optimal air movement in the room. The adjustable counter balanced doors operate automatically, as the static pressure vacuum increases the building when the fan system throttles up. In winter the pivot door stops prevent door damage and animal drafting in high winds in the spring. All units come with 12” insulation barrier. The insulated doors prevent freeze up and air leakage. Our low pivot point puts the door on an upward angle to direct the winter air along the ceiling. The inlet is an important part of any ventilation strategy.
