SS Offset Pit Plenums

J&D Manufacturing’s PRUDEN Stainless Steel Pit Plenums are designed for the harshest hog environments. The Stainless Steel Pit Plenums allow exhaust ventilation from the pit without using the building cleanout covers. Fans last longer because they are not being moved every time you move the pit cleanout cover. Fans can also exhaust gasses while a pit is being pumped or agitated. The offset plenums raise the fan away from the building walls and curtains. The Stainless Steel Pit Plenums can be used with other fans, please consult data on the rough openings spec drawing in the manual.

The regular pit plenums are ideal for solid walls and the offset pit plenums are ideal for curtain walls. Made of strong 20 gauge stainless steel (16 gauge stainless steel on offset models) for strength and corrosion resistance. Smooth on the inside, they are designed for minimal air restrictions. We recommend using our Poly Stainless Pit fans for minimum ventilation needs with the added feature of a built in hood for wind protection and less winter freeze up then cone fans.
