Aluminum Intake Shutter
J&D Manufacturing’s Aluminum Shutters are designed for air intake or can be used with exhaust fans (both inside and outside).
All shutters come complete with tie bar to eliminate shutter flapping and locking open. The heavy aluminum
extrusion frame and center bar (36”– 60”) have welded corners for extra strength. Our new
shutter series is by far the best value shutter on the market today.

- High efficiency shutter with tie bar to eliminate shutter flapping
- Powered Aluminum Intake Shutters or free–air exhaust
- Nylons bearings; solid shafts; drawn cup–type sleeves on all movable linkage
- Frame of heavy aluminum extrusion with 1/2" channel lock water stop.
Corners are precision milled and welded for durability
- Interlocking blades for maximum weather seal
- Constructed with rigid “T” section center member
- Optional motorized shutter kit available to turn any shutter
into a power shutter

J&D Manufacturing’s Aluminum Power Shutters are designed to act as an inlet for air
intake. The heavy aluminum extrusion frame and center bar (36”– 60”), have welded
corners for extra strength. All shutters come complete with shutter motor and hardware.
The new shutter motor is 15% more powerful than standard motors and has an easy
wiring access cover.
- Heavy shutter motor comes complete with
attachment chains, link arms and spring
- 9', 115 Volt prewired to shutter motor
- Shutter motor is 115/230 Volt
- No Electrician Required
when plugged into a locally approved
electrical circuit.

J&D Manufacturing's white Poly Shutters are designed for air intake or can be used with exhaust fans (both
inside and outside). Constructed of a white exterior grade PVC material to create a maintenance free shutter.
No rust or corrosion and easy to clean. Aerodynamic design creates smooth operation and less air drag.
Features:
- PVC framework with corner braces,
results in stronger shutter construction
- Poly welded corners
- Curved shape of the blades assures a
tight seal when the shutter is closed
